Alpha Nursing can employ Nurses and carers on a range of permanent and temporary visa's. Whether you are a student or an international nurse in Australia on a working holiday Alpha may be able to help.

We cannot employ any person who requires employer sponsorship to fulfil their visa requirements

As part of the recruitment process we will check your visa is current and note any hour limits that may apply with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) online VEVO visa verification system

Students

If you are on a student visa you will most likely be restricted in the amount of hours that you can work for Alpha and any other company you are employed with

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) states that you can work a maximum of 40hrs in any fortnight period and that this is inclusive of your breaks.

You can work more than 40hrs in your course's designated holiday period. You will need to provide Alpha with written evidence of your holiday start and finish dates. If you are unable to provide written evidence we cannot offer you more than 40hrs per fortnight
